ABOUT ELLA
"I have worked in the health and fitness industry for over 30 years and opened my Pilates studio in Battersea in 2010. I teach small mat classes, one-on-one sessions, flexibility coaching, and personal training as well as offering Thai Yoga massage, the ancient traditional massage of Thailand.
Coming from dance and personal training background, I discovered Pilates after suffering from sciatica for many years following a whiplash injury. It was then that I realised the amazing benefits of Pilates and decided to share this fantastic method, so in 2003 I began my training with Alan Herdman, a second generation Pilates teacher who studied with Carola Trier, one of the few people to have been professional certified by Joseph himself.
I now work with clients of all ages and abilities and enjoy working within pain management and rehabilitation as well as maintaining the general health and wellbeing of my clients that wish to stay fit, healthy, mobile and strong well into old age. I also work alongside triathletes, marathon runners, keen golfers, and squash enthusiasts, helping them to maintain their strength and flexibility and enabling them to excel in their chosen sports.
I am a fully qualified Thai Yoga masseuse, and believe that this also compliments Pilates, personal training and flexibility coaching by offering a rebalancing of energy, improved flexibility, toning of
the muscles and focusing of the mind.
I am very passionate about Pilates and strive to share my love of this method and how it can help improve the quality of your life, in a fun, relaxed and enjoyable way that encourages my clients to keep coming back for more!"
